Kelly Fisher, E-RYT 200
Kelly combines elements of Anusara, Iyengar, Astanga and Prana Vinyasa Flow to create a class that emphasizes the basics while offering some innovative flair.
Kelly’s teaching style is based on her personal experience of discovering the freedom to listen to her own body. She uses movement and music to help her students to develop strength and flexibility in a creative way. Each class also contains elements of meditation and breathwork to round out the practice.
In addition to teaching group classes, Kelly offers private one-on-one sessions intended for therapeutic purposes or to focus on particular elements of the practice. She also runs occasional workshops and specialised courses for specific interest groups such as Breast Cancer survivors and those that are interested in early morning practices.
Kelly’s yoga training includes Nicky Knoff’s Foundation Certificate (350hrs – 2005), Shiva Rea’s Prana Vinyasa Immersion Program (120hrs – 2006) and ongoing study with various teachers including Simon Borg-Olivier, Desiree Rumbaugh, Shiva Rea, Twee Merrigan and BJ Galvan. She also holds a Bachelor of Neuropsychology and has studied health and nutrition extensively. Kelly has been certified by the Yoga Alliance.
